Join us at ALISE! Our SIG Business Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 29 from 7:30-8:30am in the ST. Clair Room, Floor Upper 5. The SIG Panel, School Library Practice and Education: Developing a Passion and Commitment to Civil Rights, Social Justice, and Learning for Life, will be held Thursday January 29 from 10:30am - 12:00pm in Toledo, Floor 5. View this link for more details on the speakers.
At this point the chairs have not decided whether we'll have a formal meet-up since there are so many things going on at the conference. We hope there will be a lot of informal networking going on though!

March 26, 2013: Website Updates and Additions
CFPs: First, we’ve added additional content in the to the Call For Papers. You can find CFPs of all different kinds organized by the date the are due. If you’d like to advertise a CFP on the SIG site, just send it to us and we will happily add it.
Twitter: We’ve added Twitter to our web presence! Our twitter account is @ALISE_schoollib, but the primary feature is the new hashtags we’re promoting, #SchoolLibRes and #SchoolLibSIG. We want to encourage all of our members to tweet their publications and research using the first hashtag and any news you’d like to share with the SIG using the second. We’ve set up custom timelines on the website, so these tweets will be shared not only with the twitter community, but also anyone visiting our website.
Publications: We have also updated the Recent Publications page. You can find recent articles and presentations presented by your colleagues. What’s the best way to get your publication added to the site? Send us an email or tweet it to us! @ALISE_schoollib #SchoolLibRes #SchoolLibSIG.
Presentations: We have added PDFs or slideshares of recent SIG presentations. If you have an additional presentation that is not on the site, please share it with us. We would be happy to add it. You can share by twitter or email.
If you have any questions or ideas, please let your new webmasters know (contact information is in in the contact section of the site).
